LOGO CONTEST!


SITUATION
In January 2008, the Sea Bright Business Alliance (SBBA) was officially formed. The mission of the group is to work together for the advancement of the Sea Bright business community; to enhance the economic, civic and cultural environment; and to improve the overall quality of life in Sea Bright.

Here is where you come in: this entity needs a piece of identity ware to go with its name: the SBBA needs a logo!

OBJECTIVE
To create a logo for the Sea Bright Business Alliance (plus, if you win, earn some notoriety AND win over $1,000 value in merchandise and gift certificates generously donated by SBBA member businesses.)

GENERAL INFO
Portraying the culture of the Sea Bright business environment is not the only standard by which the logos in this contest will be judged. Creativity, originality, aesthetics, use of space and color will all be used to measure the logo's merit.

LOGO GUIDELINES
The design should include the phrase "Sea Bright Business Alliance" and its acronym "SBBA" somewhere in the design. Beyond that, it's all you. We don't want to inhibit anyone's creativity!

PRIZE:
The winner of the logo contest will receive over $1,000 value (yes...ONE THOUSAND dollars) in gift certificates and merchandise donated by SBBA members:

  • Brahma Yoga Spa - A gift certificate for a 60 minute therapeutic massage ($90 value)
  • LIA Womenswear - $25 gift certificate

  • Ichabod's Bar and Grill - $50 gift certificate
  • Valley National Bank - $ 50 Bond
  • Elite Design - Laptop Carrying Bag and Leather Zip-around Binder ($75 value)
  • Better Homes Realty Sea Bright - $50 American Express gift card

    RULES
    This contest is void where legally prohibited. ANYBODY can enter. (Though, due to the nature of prize, it would make sense if the entrant lived in the area.) All contest logo submissions become the property the Sea Bright Business Alliance and will not be returned. The SBBA reserves the right to alter the the winning logo, for example, resizing it, changing a particular color used to make it work with a web site theme, etc. The entry must be your original design, and not a copy that may be subject to copyright laws. You may submit as many unique logo designs (entries) as you like. All required information fields must be complete and accurate when submitting an entry form below.

    DEADLINE
    Entries must be received by January 8, 2008. The winner will be contacted and announced January 16, 2008 and will be recognized on the website (www.VisitSeaBright.com.)

    SUBMISSIONS

    Digital submissions: Digitally submitted logos are preferred in .eps format with a 300 dpi - show us the lines and please outline all your fonts. HOWEVER, file extensions .jpg and .gif will also be accepted. Use this form to submit a digital entry and upload your logo file.

    Hardcopy submissions: Hand drawn/painted submissions can submited via US mail.
    Hardcopy submissions need to print this form, complete it, and send it with your artwork.
