WHAT IS THE SKIM BASH?
The Skim Bash presented by Jersey Shore Skim Camp and Skim City (watch video)
is the premiere Pro/Am skimboarding contest on the Jersey shore.
Skimboarders from around the country, of all ages, from beginners to professionals, gather for this annual action-packed 2-day event to show off their skills, and compete for prizes and cash.
Spectators are welcome!
WHEN:
The 7th annual SkimBash takes place Saturday and Sunday, September 11-12, 2010. The contest runs for two days, with preliminary heats on Saturday; and semi-finals, finals on Sunday.
Registration begins Saturday at 8:00 a.m., contest will end around 5 p.m. both days. Riders must be prepared to spend the entire day at the beach.
WHERE:
The Sea Bright Municipal Beach (behind Donovans). All Skim Bash participants/spectators MUST PARK IN THE MUNICIPAL LOT, no exceptions. There will be NO PARKING AT DONOVAN'S REEF.
COST TO COMPETE:
- $35 Amateur
- $50 SemiPro
- $100 Pro
PLEASE NOTE: In additional to the Cost To Compete fee, there is a $15 Skim USA membership fee if you're not yet a 2011 Skim USA member.
