The Taste of Sea Bright is an annual event run by the Sea Bright Business Alliance.
This event is truly a "pay one price" all-day event - which means EVERYTHING is included: Eventgoers ride the trolley and hop to all the different stops for
samplings of delicious food, drinks/cocktails, event transportation, fun give-aways, door prize drawings, a complimentary SBBA backpack and lanyard - and free entry into the passport drawing if you complete the course.
Tipping the bartenders, servers, and trolley/bus drivers, is of course, optional - but recommended.
Just park in Sea Bright (you will receive a passport and map indicating designated parking areas when you buy tickets) and visit the stops in ANY order you wish , at any time between Noon and 5:30 p.m. on the day of the event.
This year, we will have a trolley and 3 buses continuously loop the course, dropping you off and picking you back up at each stop.
By the time you've had a complimentary drink and food sampling, the trolley/bus will be back around to pick you up
and take you to your next stop. Where else can you spend an entire afternoon eating, drinking, receiving fun give-aways and
having fun with your friends for only $40?
The event ends at 5:30 pm, but the trolley and buses will continue to provide free transportation until 6:30 p.m.
Most of the stops are in the center of town, where you can walk on foot. You can hop on the trolley or buses to visit the stops on the north and south ends of town.
When you purchase your admission bracelet, you will also receive a map/passport.
The admission bracelet and map/passport will entitle you to samplings of food, drinks, cocktails, door prize drawings, and incredible free giveaways
at all the different stops on the map -- and unlimited rides on the trolley and buses during the event.
Each stop on the map is unique and will offer something different.
It is at the discretion of each establishment as to what they will provide event-goers.
The food served by the participating restaurants is limited to a "sampling".
Any restaurant offering an alcoholic beverage has a limit of one complimentary serving
per person, and you must be 21 years of age. You may be asked for identification
to prove you are of legal drinking age at each stop...so don't forget to bring your I.D.
Follow the map and get your passport stamped at each stop on your journey.
If you complete the entire course and get a stamp from every business,
just fill out the form on your passport, (name, address, phone), leave it with an employee at your last visit,
and you’ll be entered to win a free prize drawing. There will be 3 winners:
First drawn - $100, Second drawn - $200, Third drawn - $300.
You must complete the entire course and get a stamp from every business listed on the passport to be eligible for the prize drawing.
The drawing will be publicly held the on the following Wednesday after the event
at 7 p.m at the Sea Bright Library. Anyone is welcome to attend the drawing, however,
you do not need to be present to win. GOOD LUCK!
